Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda has picked the commissioner of Works in the state Hon Pam Botmang, as his running mate for the 2023 governorship race in the state.
Unveiling his running mate at the APC Seceteriate in Jos, after consultations with critical stakeholders in the state, Nentawe said I am happy to announce that I have picked Botmang as my running mate in the 2023 governorship election in Plateau State,” he said.
“I wish to therefore call on the good people of Plateau State to support the choice of Botmang as my running mate. I also enjoin them in coming out en-masse to vote for our ticket during the forthcoming 2023 general election.”
“Your mandate in 2023 will enable us to build a peaceful, prosperous, and greater Plateau State.”
Nentawe said zoning was critical as well as integrity.
He thanked the APC for finding him worthy as their Candidate promising not to let the party down
Nentawe said he is working towards uniting all members of the party in the state, so that it would emerge victorious come 2023.
Speaking earlier the Chairman of the party in Plateau Hon Rufus Bature, said the campaign for their Governorship election would be rancour free.
APC has the best Governorship candidate, and we would market him to the people of Plateau, he said everyone would be carried along.

Hon Pam Botmang is a graduate of Management & Law from the prestigious University of London.
Honourable Pam Botmang is also a post graduate alumnus of the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom.
He attended the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria and qualified as a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. He has attended many courses within and outside Nigeria in world renowned schools such as Lagos Business School, Cranfield School of Management, UK to improve his shipping knowledge and management skills.
He is the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Indigenous Shipping Agents and Operators Association of Nigeria (ISAON). He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. He has over 14years experience in the shipping industry in top management positions
Hon.Pam Botmang a serving Commissioner of works is of Berom tribal extraction from Jos South; Son of a former Deputy Governor/ Governor. He is a seasoned politician and international businessman with vast networks and connections.
Hon Pam Botmang is a young rising star in Berom land and has a likelyhood of garnering an average of 70 thousand votes from Plateau youths, a possibly 100 thousand votes average from Plateau Catholics, and a potential 5 thousand votes strength from his hometown Zawan, likely 90 thousand votes across Northern zone and another 70 thousand across Plateau being a well liked serving Commissioner.
It is expected that Hon Pam Botmang will continue to work toward providing infrastructural development in the State and better the lives of the Citizens.
